Artist in Residence – Jazz in Amsterdam is the first series in a set of YouTube episodes in which Manifest Europe explores the creative energy shaping Europe’s future. In Amsterdam, we dive into the vibrant world of a new generation of European jazz artists. We meet musicians who blend tradition with innovation, capturing Europe’s diversity in sound while creating something radically their own.

This series is part of a broader Artist in Residence program, in which we visit artists across disciplines and cities in Europe. Together, they reveal how art and music can become the shared language of a new, free, and connected Europe. Jazz in Amsterdam thus becomes a window into the question: what tone will artists set for tomorrow’s European culture?
